The Erikson Institute for Education, Research, and Advocacy of the Austen Riggs Center announces a 2024 Virtual Roundtable Series, Minding the Gaps: Addressing Mental Health Through the Life Cycle.
A growing body of evidence points to a serious mental health crisis in the United States marked by:
- Increased prevalence of loneliness and mental health disorders
- Rising rates of suicide, substance misuse, and addiction
- Barriers to accessing mental health care
- Persistent mental health disparities
- Impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the workforce, schools, and other communities
This virtual roundtable series brings together clinicians, researchers, advocates, and policymakers to examine these pressing issues of mental health throughout various stages of life. Together, we will examine the opportunities and strategies individuals, communities, and institutions have for addressing the mental health crisis.
All roundtables will take place on a Saturday from 11:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m. (Eastern) on Zoom and will be eligible for 1.5 free CE/CME credits.
